SEDDON STREET PUBLIC REALM UPGRADE

Seddon Street serves as a key node to the entry of luxury residences, ONE Subiaco. The public realm upgrade aimed to activate the space by connecting public areas and providing opportunity for curated markets, a dynamic meeting place and a world-class retail and dining experience. The outcome; a fresh, vibrant hub for Subiaco’s community.

Now occupying what was once the iconic Subiaco Pavilion Markets, this revamped public space pays homage to its storied past while embracing modernity. Central to its design is VOXLAB’s striking artwork, “The Rail”, crafted from railway lines sourced from Dwellingup, directly linking it to Subiaco’s original railway. At night, integrated lighting transforms it into a beacon of familiarity after dusk.

Adding to the streets allure are Stone Merchant’s cobblestones in Black Cockatoo and Coastal White. These are set in place with the innovative system from Bautek Pavement Products BOND, BED, GROUT and JOINTSET. Both products working in unison to ensure the longevity of this iconic space and its treasured past.   

The grand unveiling of the ONE Subiaco Markets celebrated a significant milestone, heralding a new era for the iconic space. With it’s top-tier construction, this burgeoning hub paves the way for an exciting future for Subiaco residents, offering not just a space, but a vibrant tapestry of experiences.
