FORREST WALK PUBLIC REALM UPGRADE

As part of a larger plan to reshape urban areas around Rokeby Road, the City of Subiaco has unveiled the stunning redesign of Forrest Walk. What was once an overlooked shortcut between a carpark and shops has been reimagined into a dynamic public space, offering a modern twist on Subiaco's unique charm. The revitalised laneway invites visitors to linger with its thoughtfully designed seating and striking paving, turning it into a destination perfect for lunchtime gatherings and social interactions.

The million-dollar redesign is driven by a vision to improve walkability, enhance safety, and boost both amenity and connectivity within the area. By reimagining the space, it fosters a stronger sense of place for locals and visitors alike.

Anchoring this transformation is the striking new pavement, supplied by Pavement Innovations. The space showcases Stone Merchants' Black Cockatoo pavers, all seamlessly installed using the Bautek rigid bound system and JOINTSET, creating a cohesive flow that ties the entire area together.
