In a groundbreaking milestone for Ellenbrook, the highly anticipated new train station is now complete. With the promise of halving commute times for local residents, this state-of-the-art hub is set to redefine daily life, easing traffic congestion while offering diverse transport options.
As the inaugural station on the visionary Morley-Ellenbrook Line spanning 21km, Ellenbrook Train Station stands out as an architectural triumph. It has earned accolades as an A-Grade facility, crowned as Australia’s highest certified train station with a prestigious 6 Star Green Star Design Review Rating. Its cutting-edge design features 200 solar panels and 10 electric vehicle charging bays, seamlessly blending sustainability with modern functionality.
The station has been benchmarked as ‘world leading in sustainable development’ and features Pavement Innovations revolutionary unbound system JOINTSET alongside KILN DRIED WHITE SAND. These materials were chosen to support the station’s ambitious design, engineered to handle the heavy foot traffic of over 8,000 daily visitors by 2031.
